In lieu of a proper team photo this year, and to get around the social distancing conundrum, the Courier team have decided to wind back the clock and try our hand at some self-portraiture. We hope you enjoy our valiant efforts.

Some of the many photos from our Media Awards event last Friday. It was such a pleasure to welcome everyone, in person and on Zoom, and to celebrate the success of absolutely all our contributors this year who have persevered through so many hurdles. There has been an unbelievable amount of talent across all of student media. Special thank you to @newcastleunitv for taking the time to live stream the event in between winning all their own awards, and for spending the day setting up the equipment to pull that off. Also to all our presenters on the evening, our photographer Chris Bishop and all the staff who helped make the event happen safely!

We are SO thankful to each and every one of you for the support this year, whether you’ve picked up the paper once or have kept up with our every move. We are so grateful to have been able to hold this event. 💜
